The Chicago Bears will be on the hunt for a new coach after firing Matt Eberflus, and Kingsbury has been placed atop the list of candidates at +300 odds.

Kingsbury is in his first year with the Washington Commanders, who are a surprising 8-5 behind strong play from rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels.

Williams has struggled with Chicago despite being the No. 1 overall pick, and if the decision-makers believe Kingsbury can straighten him out, the pairing makes sense.

Williams’ head coach in college, Lincoln Riley, is also on the list of candidates, albeit at longer odds.
