There is also the possibility that Rodgers calls it a career after this season.
It has not gone well, as the Jets are 3-9, and he has played poorly.
The oddsmakers believe he’s more likely to return, though. Rodgers has -300 odds to play in 2025, and +200 odds to retire before the season.
If injuries are to blame, Rodgers may be able to bounce back next year and elevate an offense.
However, if Father Time has caught up with him, the team that signs him will have buyer’s remorse.
